41 46 47 48 49 International IH K KB series truck steel running boards brackets

Description

This listing is for a pair of steel running boards and brackets from a K or KB series International truck, should fit all years including 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948 and 1949.   Note that these do not have aprons on them (the filler panel between the running board and the bottom of the cab) I do not have any of those, you're just getting the boards and the brackets.   Overall the boards seem solid, one has a hole in it but the underside mounting areas are both very nice, you can see where the aprons were removed, one still has some remnants of the lip of the apron on it and there are a couple of short cuts that would need to be welded up.   The brackets are straight and solid except two have extra reinforcement pieces welded on which are rusted through, but I think those reinforcement pieces could be eliminated entirely.  Also notice the white brackets are shorter than the black ones.   The bolt hole pattern and the frame rivet pattern is the same, as is the height, but the one pair is longer, maybe from a bigger series truck?   I would suggest that those need to be cut down to match the shorter ones, and the rusty reinforcements eliminated, so they all match.
These are going to need some welding/fab work, especially the brackets, but these would be a perfect set to adapt to a truck where the cab was swapped onto a different chassis, since you'll need some brackets and you're likely going to have to modify the brackets anyway.
