Good to know
To prevent slugs and snails from multiplying on the site, take a comprehensive approach to the issue. Mow the grass on the site more often, remove weeds carefully, do not create lush uncontrolled thickets. Molluscs love moisture and shade, so if the area is damp, a good drainage system is needed. In shady, humid areas of the garden and around food plants (vegetables, flowers) favorite by slugs, it is better to always have on the soil surface mulch made of sawdust, eggshells, crushed tree bark, as well as gravel, i.e. something that has a rough surface and sharp edges, because of which it will be problematic for slugs to move on such a surface.
