A premium slow released fertilizer designed for use at planting time as
well as for use as a maintenance fertilizer to help maintain professional
looking plants and landscapes.
Application Rate:
Indoor Containers:
For new plantings, mix the proper amount listed below with potting mix in the bottom of the container before setting plants. For established plants, lightly mix the proper amount into the soil and water in thoroughly. When fertilizing sensitive plants, plants grown indoors in the shade, or plants grown outdoors in the shade, always use the lower fertilizer rate. Sensitive plants include Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Ferns, Violets, Orchids, etc.
For 4" pot, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
For 5-6" pot, use 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon
For 8-10" pot, use 1 to 1.5 teaspoons
For 1 gallon pot, use 1/2 to 1 tablespoon
For 2 gallon pot, use 1.2 to 2 tablespoons
For 5 gallon+ pot, use 5 tablespoons plus 1/4 tablespoon for each additional gallon size.

For 5 gallon+ pot, use 5 tablespoons plus 1/2 tablespoon for each additional gallon size.
Annuals, Flower Beds, Row Crops, & Other Plantings:
Mix the proper amount listed below into the top 4 to 6 inches of your prepared soil. For individual transplants mix 1/2 to 1.5 teaspoons with soil under each individual plant. Apply at the rate shown below every 3 to 4 months during the growing season to help maintain vigorous, beautiful plants.
For 10 sq. ft. of bed, use 1/2 to 1 oz
For 100 sq. ft. of bed, use 6 to 10 oz
For 1000 sq. ft. of bed, use 3 to 4 lb
For row planting, use 3 to 5 teaspoons per foot of row
Perennials, Roses, Trees, & Shrubs:
For new plantings, apply 1.75 to 2.25 tablespoons per foot of expected growth height during the growing season. Mix with the soil in the bottom of the planting hole. Reapply every 3 to 4 months during the growing season. For established plants, apply 2 to 2.5 tablespoons for each foot of plant height in the early Spring and again every 3 to 4 months during the growing season.
Lawns:
For
new lawns
from seeds, sod, or plugs, first prepare soil. Apply at the rate of 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. mixed lightly into the top 3 to 5 inches of soil. In the early Fall, apply 2 to 3 lbs. of per 1,000 sq. ft. broadcast over the top of the newly established lawn. For
established lawns
, broadcast 4 to 6 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn area in the early Spring. Reapply 3 to 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. every 3 to 4 months during the growing season.
This product can most definitely be used with Fertilome Root Stimulator and other Fertilome water soluble products for even greater results.
