    BLOOMING GOOD!
    Seaweed Extract Organic Fertilizer
    120 ml, 300 ml
I could talk all day about this amazing fertilizer. Here are just a few facts to whet your appetite to use Blooming Good! If there was only one fertilizer in the world, it should be this one. As the name implies, it stimulates flower development. It truly is an all purpose fertilizer, suitable for all plants indoor and outdoors, and is particularly valuable with flowering, fruiting and vegetable plants. The RHA (Royal Horticultural Society of Great Britain) recommends the use of seaweed extract fertilizer for healthy garden plants and Springer link concludes that among other benefits, seaweed extracts improve seed germination, crop yield, disease resistance and even frost hardiness.
    I
t's actually more than a fertilizer. It's a bio-stimulant. Not only does it feed your plants but it also improves soil quality and deters infestations.
Seaweed grows prolifically in the ocean. The more you harvest, the more it grows. So there are no issues with destroying nature. Seaweed (kelp) is simply bursting with beneficial nutrients. It contains dozens of trace elements, minerals. enzymes, hormones (auxins, cytokinins and gibberlerins) and vitamins that are essential to plant growth. This means it encourages cell development for more shoots. More shoots mean more flowers, thicker lawns, and more fruit and vegetables as well.
Seaweed extract is also beneficial for the soil, helping it to become crumbly and moisture retentive.
When used with fruit and vegetable plants, seaweed extract not only encourages growth, it also enhances the natural flavours, so they will taste like they should. And tomatoes, oranges, grapes, blueberries and other fruits are tasty and juicy.
When used with summer annual and perennial plants the results are stunning because seaweed extract stimulates lots of colourful flowers and a ground-covering spreading habit in summer annuals which
    suppresses
weeds. Used with hanging baskets they will be very full with long trails.
When used on lawns, the grass thickens up and grows strongly and delivers a rich green sward.
When used with summer and winter bulbs, tubers and corms etc. such as tulips, gladiolus, dahlias and lilies, not only does seaweed extract stimulate growth, it also builds the food reserves in bulbs etc. for the following season, getting them off to a good start next year.
When used with flowering shrubs, trees and roses, there will be lots of sweetly scented flowers, rich in colour and to maximum natural size.
When used with houseplants they will be strong with excellent resistance to fungal infections. Flowering houseplants will have lots of vivid colour blooms. Use it for orchids too. (We do).
Perhaps best of all is that it is very economical to use. Blooming Good is a thick, rich, concentrated liquid. Just one teaspoonful (5 ml) is needed in 5 quarts of water. We recommend spraying plants in the early morning or early evening (plants grow best at night), every 7 days, between March and October. Thoroughly soak the plants so that excess water drips into the soil. A good soaking in this way has the triple benefit of feeding your plants, conditioning the soil, and deterring garden pests. Plants will absorb the fertilizer immediately and usually it will start benefitting the plants systemically within 24 hours.
Just one more benefit before I go - if you are sowing your own seeds as most of us do, after sowing, give a light spray with diluted seaweed extract in a foggy hand sprayer. It will help them to germinate and grow stronger.
