Construction
The Gilmour flat soaker hose construction is stronger than that of conventional rubber soaker. The hose is made from perforated PVC liner which is covered in fabric. The fabric protects the hose from harmful ultra violet rays, allowing for more durable longer-lasting performance.
Functionality and Durability
The Gilmour flat soaker hose is an efficient tool that allows for waste-free watering. With water weeping through tiny pores along the length of the hose, less water is being lost to evaporation. The soaker has the ability to feed water directly to the root zone of the plants. The flat soaker can be buried underground, or it can be placed above the ground in between the flowers, shrubs, trees, or vegetables. The hose works best with water pressure of 60psi.
With its lightweight design, Gilmour flat soaker can be easily moved around without disturbing your flower beds. The hose can be left in place throughout the growing season, but detached and drained before freezing weather.
