Description

Hi-Yield Iron Sulfate provides an effective solution to the yellowing of foliage in your lawns, flowers, shrubs, and gardens. It is
formulated to help correct chlorosis due to iron deficiency
in plants and prevent them from looking yellow and faded-out. It also helps acidify the soil to maintain a lower pH.
Sulphate of iron enriches and unlocks these nutrients from the soil. Works best for
rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas and hydrangeas
.
How to apply
Simply sprinkle some
iron sulphate
onto the soil around these
plants
and water in. Not only will it help deliver essential
Iron
to these
plants
but also reduce the soil pH which in turn helps to make the
Iron
in the soil more beneficial.
How to mix
If package instructions are not available or are unclear, PennState Extension recommends mixing
0.15 to 0.2 pounds of sulphate of iron for every 2 gallons of water
. This will cover 1,000 square feet of lawn. Be sure to wear gloves to avoid staining your hands. Use warm water to prepare the mixture.( just to prepare the mixture let it cool down before used in your plants )
