    Description

This beautifully engraved sterling silver bolo tie, made by master Hopi silversmith Manuel Hoyungowa (1953-2011), depicts a mudhead, a traditional clown figure in Pueblo culture. The mudhead is engaging in a dance around a stalk of corn, perhaps calling down rain to water the crop. The bolo itself is in excellent condition, with no visible scratches or blemishes and a patina making the engraving itself stand out clearly and boldly. One of the pins is slightly dented at an angle, as shown in the third photo. Free shipping with USPS first class mail.
