    T
    his auction is for a large 2" diameter vintage Native American sterling silver
    concho bolo.  The traditional concho style bolo is a substantial size at 45.7 grams and having deep handmade stampings.
    There is a braided leather tie with sterling silver tips.  There is a warm patina which shows vintage age to the bolo.  The bolo is unsigned as is common for older bolos but I believe it is Navajo.  The bolo is marked "sterling".  The bolo and tips tested for sterling silver using a GXL Next Tester which is non-invasive.  The unmarked Bennett style clasp came into use around 1983 and helps to date the bolo.
    This large sterling Navajo concho style bolo is in excellent vintage condition with expected wear.  There could be very minor surface scratches.  There is no damage to the bolo tie. The braided leather tie is gently worn. The Bennett style clasp is in working condition and holds the leather tie nicely.
