    Description

Rare stunning vintage Early C. 1980'S Wallace Chan Turquoise Pendant w/18k gold. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class. This spectacular genuine Wallace Chan pendant is truly a show stopper.. The hand carved profile of a lovely lady in the turquoise is graceful and finely detailed. Mr. Chan has advised that the turquoise originated from Arizona. Surrounded by fine, rich 18 karat yellow gold,
Chan is one of the first Chinese jewelry artists to be celebrated internationally. Known for his rich carvings and extravagant use of gems, these earrings are milder than most of his works. They also are more affordable, as his highly prized and collectible art is unobtainable for most of us mere mortals. It is said that Chan only sells to clients whom he likes, as each piece he creates comes from his heart. In 2015, Chan was invited to create the most expensive diamond necklace ever made, A Heritage in Bloom. It is very rare for one of his early creations to appear on the market like this. Largely self-taught, Chan spent his entire career learning and perfecting new techniques making his work stand out as true art, as well as very wearable jewelry.
This piece is an amazing piece of his earlier works and this is a great opportunity.
