Directions
For use on: Citrus trees, pecans trees, all fruit trees and fruit bearing vines.
When to feed: Citrus: Citrus trees should be fed regularly during the growing season. First feeding should be in January and continue to feed every month through September. Pecan, fruit trees & vines: First feeding in early spring as the buds begin to swell or new growth appears. Feed two additional times at 6 weeks intervals.
How to apply: Transplanting - Dig hole at least 6 inches larger than the radius of the root ball. Thoroughly mix 1 tablespoons of Turf Magic Fruit, Citrus & Pecan Food with the soil in the bottom of hole. Set plant and firmly fill around plant with soil. Water thoroughly after transplanting until the water runs out of the transplant hole. When new growth appears, apply a second application of one tablespoon of plant of food around the drip line and water thoroughly. The drip line of a plant is the area underneath the ends of the outer most branches. This is the area where the most active roots are and were most of the nutrient uptake occurs.
Note: Do not use this product on plants in containers.
Established plants - Citrus: Sprinkle Turf Magic Fruit, Citrus & Pecan Food evenly around the drip line at the recommended amount. Water thoroughly after applying.
Citrus use rate table: Plant height: 2 to 4 feet. Amount to use: 1 tablespoon. Plant height: 4 to 8 feet. Amount to use: 1 cup. Plant height: Over 8 feet. Amount to use: 2 cups. Note: 2 cups = 1 lb. Pecan, fruit trees & fruit-bearing vines: Apply 1 cup of Turf Magic Fruit, Citrus & Pecan Food per 3 feet of plant height, with a maximum of 4 cups per tree. For small trees and fruit-bearing vines under 3 feet, apply 1 tablespoon per plant. Sprinkle fertilizer beneath the plant branches at the drip line of the plant. Water thoroughly after applying.
