Up for your perusal is this fabulous find. This is a highly sought after statement necklace by master Navajo silversmith artisan Tommy Singer. Tommy Singer (1940-2014) was a world renowned silversmith who incorporated traditional Navajo design. He is known as the originator of the chip inlay design which he first developed in the late 1960s / early 1970s depending on the source. I believe this necklace may be an earlier piece of his. This necklace comes from the estate of a long time collector who acquired most of her pieces in the 1970s and 1980s. I am assuming this necklace dates at least from the 1980s. I am not able to find any marks, but this necklace was acquired by the original owner from a well respected Gallery in Santa Fe. Exquisite quality and weight. Nice substantial piece. Necklace combines stacked turquoise, sterling spacer beads, sterling barrel beads overlaid with gold vermeil kiva cut-outs. I am calling the barrel beads storyteller beads, but the experts may disagree. Definitely a statement necklace. Hook-eye clasp. Necklace is about 33.5" in length when spread out. This is a very unique piece acquired from a longtime collector. Shipping cost includes insurance. Please contact me with any questions.

Overall good vintage condition. Nice patina. No missing parts or pieces. Could be polished further or buffed if desired.
