Vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse & Co. (c. Late 1950s) Large Character Belt OOAK

Description

A rather unique item that was likely commissioned by a private collector, presented in this lot is a strong belt with several scenes depicting various famous animated characters, mostly from the world of Walt Disney, including Mickey Mouse, Snow White and Grumpy, Popeye the Sailor Man, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, and Felix the Cat. Additionally, the belt comes with a brass buckle showcasing Mickey Mouse and reading "Mickey Mouse 1937, Hollywood Cal. U.S.A." A striking piece. In overall very good condition, is does display some wear, such as slight creases and edge wear, minor surface cracks to the fabric, tiny fabric chips, miniscule ink markings, and mostly unobtrusive smudges and scuffs. Additionally, the non-decorated side of the belt shows some minor staining.
41 Inch Long before buckling. Would be very nice hung on the wall in a belt shadowbox frame.
